FAQ's about IELTS
IELTS is recognized by over 11000 organizations globally that include universities, government agencies, immigration departments, multinational companies and professional bodies.
The IELTS Academic test is for students who want to pursue higher education abroad or for professional registration in an environment that requires English language. On the other hand, the IELTS General Training test is for students who want to apply for secondary education, training programs or work experience. Also, some countries require it for migration.
In general, the score can vary between 1 and 9 and 0 for ‘did not attempt’. According to British Council a score of 9 reveals that you are an “expert” in English. Scoring an 8 indicates a “very good” and so on.
The IELTS score is valid for two years from its declaration. However, the score’s validity also depends on the organization for different purposes.
There is no specific number of attempts and so you can attempt IELTS any number of times if you want to get the best score.
